Pope Francis spoke of being 'dazzled' by girl, possible change of celibacy rule
Wed Mar 20, 2013
Jimimd - that's not a fair comment. I am no supporter of the Catholic Church continuing to force celibacy on ordained priests who were born, raised or converted into the religion since they already allow for married individuals to become priests after they convert. That is hypocritical.
Love it or hate it? 'Kissing Statue' returns to San Diego, ignites debate

Julie - on a small scale that is what happened.
Find and record all species on Earth? Study argues we can
Wed Feb 6, 2013
Yea, by spending that much over the next 50 years we might be able to do a lot more things. I could think of 50 years worth of things that are more important than naming all the species on the face of the earth. How about making sure all the humans on the face of the earth have a decent living.
Happy birthday, modern tax system: 100 toasts and roasts
Tue Feb 5, 2013
FairTax please! Google it if you don't know! The only issue is the probate should be directly deposited into an account therefore there is less fraud and wasted tax-payer money on drugs.
Is Kate Upton ad too racy for Super Bowl audience?
Thu Jan 24, 2013
Racy? Yes. Unnecessary? Yes. Effective? Absolutely... NOT. If you are more inclined to buy a Mercedes from this commercial you should have just saved your money and bought a prostitute. Promoting the sexualization and objectification of women? That would be an affirmative as well.
Gun-rights groups: Our 'backs are against the wall'
Sat Jan 12, 2013
The problem is that no amount of arguing between citizens is going to stop our current system of government which can enact laws without the majority of people in the United States agreeing. Once you vote in representatives and your state becomes blue or red (Republican or Democrat) you have forfeit …
'Desperate move,' prosecutor says as Sandusky tries to overturn sex-abuse conviction

We do not have a 'fair' system of justice. We have an 'adversarial' system of justice.

We are ready for real change but our current two party system does not allow for it. We rarely see anything that resembles the campaign promises of Republicans and Democrats after they are elected. These candidates appear to be more interested in patting each other on the back than in doing the next …

Obama on gun control petition: 'We hear you'
Fri Dec 21, 2012
I completely agree with the ban on rapid-fire / fully automatic assault weapons. But that is still not a preventative measure. If you really want to stop these things from happening you have to allow yourself to believe that these 'sickos' were once people that did not have the desire to do this.
